Co-Tech April Revenue was NTD352million

Co-Tech Copper Foil (Ticker 8358) announced its April sales of 2013 amounted to NTD352 million, sales declined 12.6%
compared to the same period last year, however, increased 9.5% on a MoM basis.
The copper foil industry average selling price is set by adding a premium on top of the LME average price of the previous
month. Impacted by some slow economic statistics , the average April copper price declined 6.4% compared to the previous
month and had caused some customers to delay their orders, the only exception being the thin copper foil for Smart phones,
which enjoyed a 5% MoM growth, and a close to 48% YoY growth. Thin Copper foil for NB computer had a over 30% and 5.7%
decline on a YoY and MoM basis respectively. The best thick copper foil demand were those applied on automobiles, with a
94% increased MoM and 6% increased YoY.
Co-Tech is the only OTC listed ED copper foil supplier in Taiwan and its major application are on 3C products, customers
including CCL and PCB makers, thin copper foil applied on smart phones and Notebook PCs are the major products of the
company. Copper foil demand is closely related to global economy, it will be most beneficial to Co-Tech and copper foil
companies in general if copper price is stable.
