Co-Tech Revenue was NTD366million, declined 13.8% YoY
(March 5th, 2013 Taipei News) Co-Tech Copper Foil (Ticker 8358) announced its February sales of 2013
amounted to NTD366 million, impacted by the Chinese New Year holiday, sales declined 13.8% compared
to the same period last year, and declined 7.6% compared to the previous month.
The copper foil industry average selling price is set by adding a premium on top of the LME average price of
the previous month. Sales lead time is comparatively shorter in this industry. However, from the sales
distribution of the previous 2 months and orders of March, demand of Tablet, Servers and the car industry
The accumulated sales for the previous two months already made up 66% of the 4th quarter of 2012, and 60%
of the 1st quarter of 2012.
Co-Tech is the only OTC listed ED copper foil supplier in Taiwan and its major application are on 3C products,
customers including CCL and PCB makers, thin copper foil applied on smart phones and Notebook PCs are
the major products of the company. Copper foil demand is closely related to global economy, Co-Tech expects
sales to grow with a better 2013 economy.
